Direct Blue 2B mainly used for dyeing cellulose fiber fabrics such as cotton and viscose, and can also be used for dyeing silk and viscose/nylon blended fabrics. Other aspects can be used for dyeing pulp and organisms.

Storage & Transportationy: it must be stored dry & cool warehouse. Avoid to be contacted with oxidizing chemicals and combustible organic substances. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks and open flames. Carefully handle the product and avoid damaging the package.

WHAT IS DIRECT BLUE 2B

Direct Blue 2B is blue powder. Soluble in water in a blue to navy blue solution, slightly soluble in ethanol and fibrinogen, insoluble in other organic solvents. When exposed to concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns bright blue, and when diluted, Direct Blue 2B turns purple to reddish blue. Adding concentrated hydrochloric acid to a dye aqueous solution produces a navy blue precipitate, while adding concentrated sodium hydroxide solution produces a deep purple precipitate. For dyeing cellulose fibers, Direct Blue 2B has good absorbance and the maximum affinity is achieved at a temperature of 60-80 ℃. Good discharge ability. When encountering copper, iron, and colored light, they all turn red.
