Application Of Direct Pink 12B

Direct Pink 12B mainly used for dyeing cellulose fiber fabrics such as cotton and viscose, it has a blue light red color, good dyeing rate, good transfer and leveling properties, and is also used for direct printing. Generally, after dyeing, it needs to be treated with fixing agent Y to improve wet fastness, and the color light after treatment tends to be blue. It can also be used for dyeing silk, nylon, and viscose/nylon blended fabrics, as well as for dyeing pulp. Dyeing cellulose fibers with good dye absorption and maximum affinity at 60-80C.

What Is Direct Pink 12B

Direct Pink 12B is Red powder. After being dissolved in water, it turns into a magenta solution with a solubility of 45g/L (80 ℃). Direct Pink 12B is also soluble in fibrinogen and slightly soluble in ethanol, resulting in a reddish orange color. It is insoluble in other organic solvents. When exposed to concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns orange to reddish brown, and after dilution, it forms a dark blue red precipitate; When encountering concentrated nitric acid, it forms an orange brown solution and precipitate. Direct Pink 12B aqueous solution is mixed with concentrated hydrochloric acid to form a jujube red precipitate, while the concentrated sodium hydroxide solution turns orange brown. When encountering copper, the light is dim, and when encountering iron, it slightly changes color.
