【What’s Oil Orange G】
Solvnet yellow 14 is Yellow powder. Its Melting point 134℃, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, easily soluble in grease and mineral oil, soluble in acetone and benzene.
Sovlent yellow 14 is an orange-red in ethanol; it is magenta in concentrated sulfuric acid, and produces an orange-yellow precipitate after dilution; it is red after heating in concentrated hydrochloric acid, and forms dark green hydrochloride crystals after cooling.
